Belgin, one of the doyens of the profession in Türkiye, graduated from Robert College’s (Boğaziçi University) Department of Literature and Languages (undergraduate degree). She has been working as an interpreter since 1974. She is a TKTD member and a former AIIC member and is accredited to EU institutions. She taught interpretation courses at Boğaziçi University’s Department of Translation and Interpreting Studies in 1986-1999. Her working languages are Turkish (A) and English (B). She is a partner and former board member at Enterkon. Belgin believes that the only truth is nature. All animals and plants are her best friends.
