Verda graduated from Boğaziçi University‘s Department of Translation and Interpreting Studies (undergraduate degree). She has been an interpreter since 1987. She is a member of AIIC and TKTD and is accredited to EU institutions. She taught interpretation courses at Boğaziçi University’s Department of Translation and Interpreting Studies in 2004-2018. Her working languages are Turkish (A) and English (B). She is a partner and the chairperson of the board at Enterkon. Verda is an inveterate dog lover and can’t live without Turkish coffee with no sugar.
